Grades will be based on the components below and final grades will be curved to the department median A-. This is a department requirement that cannot be changed. In practice, it means that your final class grade could be curved up or down, depending on the work of your fellow students.
All work is due at the time specified; any changes to the deadlines listed below will be announced on Canvas and in class. Late work will not be accepted without written permission from me in advance of the deadline. There are no make-up exams or quizzes.
If a student disagrees with their grade for any of the assignments, they must discuss it with me within 72 hours of the grade being returned.
All grades will be posted on Canvas.
